Robin DiStiso
President
Robin Distiso is the President of Robin’ Nest. In 2015 she obtained an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Naugatuck Valley Community College. She also received accreditation from the National Association for the Education of the Young Children (NAEYC).
Robin Distiso has worked over 350 hours with children public schools children, social centers and home care.
As mother of 4, Robin knows how precious a child can be to a parent. In her own life experiences, she was still able to strive from an abusive home be it, physical, verbal, and/or mental abuse.
Currently Robin spends 5 hours at the Yale Autism weekly to support children who are challenged with autism; and is starting an autism program at the Waterbury Mattatuck Museum. On May 6th Robin participating in the Autism Walk with Autism Speak.
Other initiatives that Robin does:
• Participated as a medical assistant for Stanislaus School Summer Camp, Meriden, CT.
• In 2008-2010 supported a Spring/Summer program for low income youth.
• From 2010-2012 volunteered at a children program at the Church of Christ Waterbury, CT.
• Works at a museum as one of the educators where she as worked with over 220 children. Also work with children who were dealing with substance abuse and deemed suicidal.

Robin is also an author of children’s books: “Cyber Monsters”; “You Are Not Alone”; “Multiville”; “Blind Bullying”; “Angels On Earth”.
Bruce Jordan
Trustee
Bruce Jordan was appointed as a trustee in April 25, 2017. In 2006, he served on a Board of Directors for the Preserve at San Jose Condominium community in Jacksonville Florida. In 2014 Bruce obtained his Florida real estate license. In 2015 Bruce was certified as a Guardian ad Litem in the state of North Carolina. He advocated for abused and neglected children in a court of family law. He is an ongoing member of ASPCA. He is a graduate of the University of Phoenix in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. While also obtaining his bachelor’s degree Bruce also became certified in the Six Sigma methodology. He is the sole owner of PicUrSign social website.
